GFAC 2021 seeks to enable the interactive exchange of state-of-the-art knowledge and bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars in the domain of interest from around the world.
GFAC 2021 provides a unique forum for prominent researchers and young talented specialists to present the latest research findings, emerging technologies and directions in geotechnics, soil mechanics, foundation engineering and all related construction spheres.
GFAC 2021 is a place to engage with leading universities, research institutes and design organizations from Russia, Japan, South Korea, India and other countries.

GFAC 2021 organizers welcome original manuscript submissions written in English language that are closely related to the specified areas. The selected papers will be published online in GFAC 2021 Proceedings (peer reviewed and Scopus indexed; www.balkema.nl).

GFAC 2021 has opened the Call for paper proposals devoted to a broad range of restoration and reconstruction of architectural heritage topics.
The call for paper submission will be closed on May 1, 2021 . All paper proposals are subject to blind peer review process prior their approval.
GFAC 2021 will be published by CRC Balkema (Taylor & Francis Group; https://www.balkema.nl/) and indexed in Scopus & Web of Science along with the other indexing services.
Publication in GFAC 2021 is 250 euro. Authors submit their papers in English according to the template and sample article. We kindly ask GFAC 2021 authors to follow the IMRAD format (Introduction (I) – Methods (M) – Results (R) – and Discussion (D)) when structuring their articles.
Once your article is ready and designed according to the template, please upload your article in doc/docx and pdf file and CtP and PVF forms as pdf filesseparately to the EasyChair platform till May 1, 2021.
Each paper submission will consist of 4 files (3 pdf and 1 doc/docx). The files can be added using “Upload files” button in the right corner of the screen on the page of your submission. GFAC 2021 Conference will be held on October 27-29, 2021 at Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (https://www.spbgasu.ru/en/).
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, numerous presentations on GFAC topics are scheduled.
On Friday the Conference participants will have the opportunity to discover unique technical objects of St Petersburg during special guided tours.
Most incoming international visitors need visas for entering the Russian Federation. Please check the information for the documents needed at the Embassy/Consulate or Visa Center where you are going to apply for your visa. Please bear in mind that the visa issuing process can take up to 2-3 weeks.
If you need a visa, please contact the International Relations Office of Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering for the visa invitation. Preparing a visa invitation can take 2-3 days.
